The Dahua DHI-NVR5208-8P-XI/Pro is an 8-channel WizMind network video recorder built for professional and commercial installations where advanced AI is a genuine requirement. It supports cameras up to 32MP, delivers 8K HDMI output, and handles up to 512Mbps bandwidth, making it one of the most capable 1U PoE recorders in Dahua's current lineup. The WizMind platform unlocks WizSeek, a natural-language video search tool that lets users describe what they are looking for in plain text and pull matching footage instantly, alongside AcuPick, face recognition across up to 200,000 stored images, perimeter protection, ANPR, people counting, PPE detection, and full video metadata. The integrated 8-port ePoE switch provides 130W total budget to power cameras directly through the recorder, and dual SATA bays support drives up to 20TB each for long retention periods.
