The Dahua XVR5108HS-I3/T is an 8 channel Penta-brid WizSense digital video recorder that accepts HDCVI, AHD, TVI, CVBS and IP camera inputs all on the same unit, making it equally at home on a new installation or an existing analogue system being upgraded.

It supports up to 5MP resolution on analogue channels and expands to a maximum of 12 IP cameras, with Smart H.265+ and AI Coding keeping storage and bandwidth usage lean throughout. WizSense AI is handled at the recorder level, bringing AcuPick for fast person and vehicle search across recordings, full-channel SMD Plus to cut out false alarms from animals and environmental triggers, Perimeter Protection on up to 4 channels, and face recognition backed by up to 10 databases holding 10,000 images.

Eight channel coaxial two-way audio allows two-way communication over existing BNC cabling to compatible cameras, removing the need for any additional audio runs. A single HDD bay supports drives up to 16TB, outputs include HDMI and VGA, and the unit draws under 7W without a drive making it an efficient and compact desktop recorder.
