The Dahua XVR5216AN-4KL-I3/T is a 16 channel Penta-brid WizSense digital video recorder that accepts HDCVI, AHD, TVI, CVBS and IP camera inputs all on the same unit, making it equally capable on a fresh installation or an existing analogue system being scaled up.

It records analogue channels at up to 4K at 15fps and 5MP at 25fps, and supports up to 32 IP camera inputs at up to 8MP each, all within a 128 Mbps incoming bandwidth. A 4K HDMI output ensures sharp, detailed monitoring at the display end.

AI is processed directly at the recorder level across all channels. This covers 8-channel AcuPick for fast person and vehicle search across recordings, full 16-channel SMD Plus to cut out false alarms from animals and environmental triggers, 8-channel Perimeter Protection with tripwire and intrusion detection, and 4-channel face recognition with up to 10 databases holding 20,000 images.

16-channel coaxial two-way audio allows communication to run over existing BNC cabling to compatible cameras, removing the need for separate audio wiring. Scheduled AI lets multiple AI functions be assigned per channel based on time frames, and Smart Dual Illuminator support enables compatible cameras to automatically switch between IR and white light mode when a target is detected.

Two HDD bays each support drives up to 16TB, giving a raw storage capacity of 32TB. Smart H.265+ and full-channel AI Coding keep bandwidth and storage requirements well under control throughout.
